About Us

Established in 2017, the Malaysia Robotics, AI and Automation Association (MYRAS) is Malaysia's First and Pioneering professional organisation dedicated to uniting key stakeholders across the Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), Automation and Advanced Technology ecosystem.

MYRAS plays a strategic role in advancing the Robotics, A.I., and Automation industry in Malaysia by fostering meaningful collaboration among industry players, academia, policymakers, and technology innovators. 

MYRAS maintains strong connections with local governing bodies, global government agencies and associations, including the Global Robotics Cluster (GRC), the International Alliance of Robotics Association (IARA), and other international partners.

MYRAS is officially appointed under Thrust 1: Governance and Ecosystem and is recognised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), reinforcing its role in shaping national strategies and industry development initiatives.

Women in Future Technologies (WiFT) is a special wing under MYRAS, established to empower and advance women's participation in emerging and future technologies. WiFT focuses on key areas including Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), Automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Innovation, providing a platform for leadership development, knowledge exchange, and industry collaboration.

Together, MYRAS and WiFT are committed to building a future-ready, inclusive, and innovation-driven technology ecosystem for Malaysia.
